After working as a generalist speech pathologist seeing clients of all ages, then working with adults in public hospitals, Danielle was keen to focus exclusively on clients who stutter. The strong evidence base for stuttering treatments and her personal experience of the benefits of the Lidcombe Program motivated her to specialise in stuttering.
Danielle is passionate about helping individuals and families to achieve their fluency goals using a range of evidence-based therapies, and supporting clients of all ages to become confident communicators. While Danielle enjoys supporting people of all ages who stutter, she has a special interest in supporting school children and adults.
Danielle assisted with the development of materials for the Camperdown Program Guide, and with the upcoming online clinician-free Camperdown Program.
Danielle has had first-hand experience of the success that can result from the Lidcombe Program, having received that therapy herself as a preschooler who stuttered.
Following her Bachelor of Science (Psychology) and Bachelor of Music (Music Performance), Danielle completed her Master of Speech Pathology at the University of Melbourne. Danielle has trained in the Lidcombe Program, Camperdown Program and Oakville Program. She is a member of the Victorian Stuttering Interest Group and Speech Pathology Australia.
Danielle consults on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
